Save the Dates for ThriveLib: A New Conference on Creating Workplaces that Foster Well-Being, August 12, 13, 14
Mark your calendars for ThriveLib: Reclaiming Joy, Balance, and Boundaries in Libraries, a virtual conference dedicated to supporting the emotional, psychological, and organizational well-being of library workers.
Dates: August 12, 13, and 14, 2025
Time: 11:00 AM – 4:30 PM CT each day
Location: Online via Zoom and HeySummit
Library workers today face growing challenges, including burnout, compassion fatigue, blurred boundaries, and shrinking support. And yet, every day, they continue to serve their communities with dedication and care. ThriveLib creates space to acknowledge these realities and imagine something better. Together, we will explore strategies for fostering psychological safety, setting sustainable boundaries, building healthier workplace cultures, and reclaiming the joy that brought so many of us to this profession.
ThriveLib is more than a conference. It is a call to action and a collective commitment to change. This is a space to reflect, learn, connect, and take meaningful steps toward thriving in library work.
