Bobbi L. Newman

Bobbi L. Newman is a librarian, Certified Wellness Practitioner, and workplace well-being consultant dedicated to creating healthier, more inclusive, and sustainable work environments. With nearly a decade of experience and two published books on workplace wellness, her work is grounded in both evidence and empathy.

Bobbi is the author of Fostering Wellness in the Workplace: A Handbook for Libraries and the editor of Well-Being in the Library Workplace: A Handbook for Managers. She has led national symposia and collaborations, secured major grants, and reached thousands of library workers through presentations, workshops, and webinars.

Known for her engaging and practical approach, Bobbi brings expertise in burnout prevention, psychological safety, and organizational culture change. Her work has been featured in The New York Times, The Guardian, and The L.A. Times. She also writes the award-winning blog Librarian by Day.
