ThriveLib’s Pricing Approach
At ThriveLib, we know that professional development should support your well-being, not undermine it. Cost shouldn't be a barrier to accessing learning opportunities or building connections with your peers. That’s why our pricing structure is built on care, equity, and trust.
We recognize that many library workers, especially those just starting out or working in precarious positions, face real financial constraints. And we also know that burnout, stress, and isolation affect people across the field, no matter their job title or funding source. ThriveLib offers three pricing tiers to meet people where they are while sustaining the conference and the community around it.
Subsidized – $75
This option is for those who are students, unemployed, or underemployed. We don’t ask for proof or justification; we trust you to choose what fits your situation.
If you’re unsure whether you fall into this group, consider if any of these apply regardless of your degree status:
You’re working part-time but need full-time work
Your current role doesn’t reflect your experience or qualifications
Your income or benefits don’t meet your basic needs
You’re juggling multiple jobs to get by
If any of that sounds familiar, this tier is here for you. This ticket includes all of the benefits and perks as other tickets.
Standard – $100
This is the typical ticket. It includes access to live sessions, 30-day replays, handouts, certificates, and our attendee giveaway. Your registration helps cover costs and ensures our speakers are paid fairly.
Pay It Forward – $125
This ticket includes everything the standard one does, and it adds something meaningful - support for someone else. Your extra contribution helps us offer subsidized spots to those who need them. It’s a tangible way to invest in collective care.
No matter which option you choose, you’ll have full access to all live sessions, replays, handouts, and certificates. We’re committed to a model that supports library workers and reflects our shared values.
Let’s keep building better ways to show up for each other.
